Recently my bike would not start in the morning, and eventually I could not start it in the afternoon. So I took apart the bike and regapped the spark plugs/cleaned them, did an oil change and then managed to fire it back up for a couple minutes. This time the fuel pump was making a fairly loud ticking sound... I ran the bike to get the oil through for a couple of minutes, and noticed that the rpm seemed to want to drop on it's own, and eventually even with the choke on, the bike stalled. The ticking sound I'm talking about got louder when I reved the engine a little. I figure replacing the pump is the only way to solve the problem? Because before this the bike was running normally.
