    Shaw Digital Phone

Is anyone using Shaw's phone service yet ?
Any comments on the switch over or the service/price ?
Looks like a pretty good deal to me.

    It is soooo freaking expensive.
www.comwave.ca and a few others offer same or better for 1/2 the price.

That's been my impression. Shaw seem to have their heads up their asses to offer a product/service that people are wary of (not comfortable with) and price themselves out of the market. Not good biz sense.

I would say Starbucks is a great example.
It's all beause of the mass advertising that makes the company successful, even if the product is junk.

ALL the hollywood movies and all the wonderful infomercials are great examples.
If jack helped you off a horse would you help jack off a horse??

You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

I have had it for a while now. I call a lot of long distance so it's worth it for me. It works out to be the same price as the old Telus deal. $20.00 for unlimited L/D in Canada and the US. But the service has been down a lot!!! 5 days last month, no home phone or internet, which sucked. But they come over right away, not next week to fix it.
    Ride hard, ride often!!!
It's all in the gettin' there, so hang on and enjoy the ride

    Sounds like Harley-Davidson.

Yeah - we use that Telus "No Limits" plan for $20 .. but Telus' version of "No Limits" actually means 800 minutes per month, which we exceed occasionally.
I have Shaw internet and haven't had many service disruptions (2-3 per year).
