hey, i'm planning on riding throughout the winter and am looking at new tires. now the ones i have right now seem to be absolutely fine for this weather, but when the rain comes, as a new rider, i want as much "buffer" zone as possible so i want ones with brand new tread. so i guess two questions, are there good tires specifically for rain, and can i keep my existing tires stored away for winter to put back on once the sun comes back next year.
i know tires are extremely important, so if i'm gonna replace them over the winter why not just get rid of the old ones completely, i just hate throwing shit out that still has good use, in my opinion.
also, are tires really able to be stored, or does lack of use and cold weather harden the rubber and make them un-rideable
