Cool man....are the trails there wide enough for a sport quad?

Sweet pictures...That first Pic looks like its starting to get technical
I have a buddy with a quad so I'm interested in the quad question too

I dunno about quads up there. i know nothing about that sport so i'm not sure what makes a good area for them, but there are some trails wide enough.
I loved riding the singletrack on " Bridge Trail " and the singletrack by the hill climb. very cool in there using your headlights in the canopy.
notice the bald rear tire. my own personal slip n' slide:

ohh fer fok sakes, Andrew and i were coming down , as you were heading up the last time. we slept over the night before , but not being a member of that dirtriding club, we slept just outside of the gates. that track was pretty dusty, but fun. anyways we can't make it up tomorrow, as Andrew and i are doing the back roads beihind the chief , that leads down to the indian arm.Originally Posted by J1k

iam actually in kelowna right now doing days at bear creek and greenstone, then will be there sunday on my way back if the bike survives 7 straight days of riding.i think a bunch of guys from carter are gonna meet me there as well.
ya gotta come to bear creek though its great, camping could be fun but dusty, the trails are wicked, rolling trails, hills are pretty steep in some areas, flat areas logging roads all of it, i keep coming up trails when yer only suppose to be going down lol.guys were laughing at me in the bush asking me wtf i was doing coming up these trails.i got the clue when my bike was boiling over and i finally just jumped off .i have helmet cam footage as well so when i get back ill post it all up. i'll be coming back hear many times for sure.
gps is my best friend now!
I hear you about GPS.
we used that up at Hope while we were getting to know the area. Really helped us a few times when we cross referenced it against a hard copy map of the area I had.
Right now i have the back wheel off my bike for a tire swap and a few other tune-up related things. It sucks waiting for parts to arrive ! I want to ride arrghh ! lol
my ride today(gps readings) at bear creek.i am freeking whipped.the 450r is great but for sure but a handful when having to ride striaght up the mountain for 11 miles.i mean straight up!iam missing nobbies from my michelin s12.fuck.(i only rolled the bike ass over tea kettle down the mountain once todayat the 20 mile mark).even got tangled in it.all good though still made it back.wish i could change the readings on gps to kmh and km's but o well still a wicked device.
doing greenstone on thursday so more video and pics to come!
When you get to Greenstone/Duffy Lake make sure you look at the KM markers on the roads. You can do it easily without a GPS if you use your head. Some will say Kxx, some will will just say xx. Just remember if you should be going down or up and you will/should be fine.
Make sure you get to the trails in the Duffy lake area (13K marker) and the woods at about the 11k marker (east side of the road). Also, go up the Savona road a few clicks and hit the trails on the east. Very nice (read: challenging hills) in there.
We should do a family trip there in the fall and see how crazy it is in the wet!
for sure, greenstones a blast!did about 35 miles there today, one thing i noticed is some trails are blocked by logs etc...kinda odd they look fresh though.
we ran into roaming cows or bulls that were freeking monsters.i was by myself so i didnt roam to far but did alot of the immediate riding at the 11 and up markers as well as the lake area.good times though except the dent in my header.fuck! hers a few pics today.
also a helmet cam from bear creek on the easy trail(not the best from resizing but still ok..before i head home were goin back to bear creek(saturday)it pissed rain today so its gonna be ugly
