I purchased my first bike a 1984 honda interceptor VF 500 with 79,000 KM on it for $800, I brought it to 5th gear to do a bit of a tune up and fix the headlight before I start to ride it.
anyway, picked her up today about 6pm and was going along westminster highway (about 3 km's from 5th gear) and she died. I thought I was out of gas or something so I pulled over and checked the tank and it was bone dry. I had to leave her on the shoulder It was scary, semi trucks were zipping along that corner so fast and the shoulder on that highway is so small !!! I went back to 5th gear to get my car and I drove home.
Came back about 9pm with a friend and some gas and my bike still didnt start It was dark now so I was screwed now !!!
all of a sudden out of the darkness of the highway a saviour on a grey CBR with blue lighting came along and helped me out, I dont remember your name I am sorry. He called Dave at 5th gear for me (it was after hours but he was in the area) and he came and got the picked up my bike and brought it back to the shop !!! I was lucky, thanks to the comradarie of the motorcycle riders my friend and I were walking back to the car and grey CBR guy pulled a wicked wheelie for us as he zipped by
anyway, thanks guys for the help. I appreciate it !!!
I hope nothing serious is wrong, and I can get my bike tommorow and start riding !!! It is always a bitch when you just leave the shop and your bike breaks down.
