Battery Acid on Wiring. . .

I recently went to recharge the battery on my bike and found a nice amount of battery acid that spilt out onto some of my wires/bolts. I was just wondering what I should be using to clean this stuff off?

Lots of water. Use a hose to flush the area. Use large volume and low pressure. Flush generously for a couple of minutes let sit for 5 and flush a second time. A wet harness or components that need a day or two to dry are far better than stuff that corrodes and needs to be replaced.
A backyard mechanic without a service manual is just like a hooker without a lamp pole.... they are both in the dark.
