I'm not making this a poll as that would limit it to what "I" think the options are. But amongst the true sportbikes which do you think is the best real world bike in terms of overall street ability, comfort, high speed wind protection while sport touring and general day to day use.
And it's no fair to just say "MY BIKE".
Of all the bikes I've ridden it's a toss up between my 9R and the YZF600R I got to test ride. These bikes do it all without straining teh body or butt. Of the two I'd have to go for the YZF. My 9R is a tiny bit crowded in the cockpit for taller riders resulting in my knees not quite fitting into the tank cutouts. I'm going to fix that this winter with lowered footpegs but otherwise it's a great bike for long hauls.
Close runner up for me are the middle generation CBR's, the F2 and F3. This last is based on my experience with the F2 track bike. If I'd known what I do now I'd have gotten one of these back when they first came out.
