Also one of the most perfect cycling roads: Alpe d'Huez in France
with the acception of fiero's, those are all really tight hairpins... wouldn't long sweeping corners be more exciting?
switchbacks aren't so much fun. Fiero had it right, unfortunately the lambos in the pic don't take advantage.
there was a section in the duffy lake loop that felt like a hairpin in Initial D....pretty cool
Fiero's pic is of the Mary Hill Loops Road in WA State. It's probably the oldest piece of paved road in the northwest, and only gets opened to motorized vehicles for special occasions--like Sportbike Northwest last week.Originally Posted by Furious Fiero
