OK, so this is a shameless plug to try to get some of you out for this weekend of track riding and racing. It's a full three days of riding and racing in what is promising to be fantastic weather conditions.
So what would we like from you out there? The Friday event is looking for more riders and the Saturday and Sunday events are looking for spectators.
But what all three days have in common is that we are looking for VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WORK CORNERS !
WHERE - Mission Raceway Park DIRECTIONS
WHEN - Any or all of the days listed below.
TIME - for workers please be there by about 8 am
WHAT- Bring personal needs to deal with sun or any odd weather change. Please avoid clothing that is red or yellow as this causes confusion with the two primary flags in the turns.
Corner marshalling is a fantastic way to see the racing or just to figure out if track riding looks like something that you want to do. It is also BY FAR the best seat in the house. No one other than the racers themselves sees the action any closer.
No experience is required, you'll be shown what is needed and new folks will be teamed up with an experienced marshall to show you the ropes. Groups of buddies or GF/BF will be teamed on the same turns whenever possible. We can't let kids out there but if you have a teenager over 16 and are willing to sign the minor's release form then they are welcome as well.
Drinks, water and food is all provided along with a heartfelt THANKS. A warm THANKYOU FOR COMING OUT and helpful directions to the other side of the pits where the marshalls meet will be provided. Please avoid any clothing that is red or yellow as these are the colors of the most important flags and we need to avoid confusion to the riders.
The lineup for this weekend coming up is....
Friday Sept 8 - PRS and West Coast Superbike School is hosting it's last Track Dayz of the season for street riders of all levels wanting to learn how and to practice riding faster. LINKY to thread in News
