I was on the sea-to-sky this morning around 11:00. I spotted several groups of engineer-types taking measurements around some of our favoite corners. It looks like the begining of the end for the legendary sea-to-sky. Construction crews will probably start showing up next summer and those corners will be replaced with more passing lanes.
Say goodbye to relaxed corners.
Say goodbye to watching Igor yo-yo back and forth in front of cars who just can understand why that one bike is going so slow.
Say hello to more fighing with 400hp SUVs going 130 in the straits and 30 in the corners.
Say hello to latebraking neons as the 130kph passing lane ends and the 50kph corners begin.
Say hello to runway-strait passing lanes ending in tight corners with duck blinds for the laser-pigs.
In short ...
If anyone asks ...
