I have no problems designing items in solidworks. But I have yet to learn, let alone master the art of converting the objects into a realistic looking images. These images are to be used in a manual, so I only need them to be greyscale. My goal is to create something like these following 2 items.
What I come up with after adding some textures to the Perimeter Sensor below isn't up to par. I want to get rid of the contour lines.
I have come accross some info online for free software that allows to render drawings like the one above into near photo quality. Have a look at this lighter.
Looks great, but I am not after that level of quality. I don't have the time to learn it either. Does anyone have the know how to modify a standard .prt file into something like the relay housing or terminal? Maybe it can be done in Adobe as well? Post up if you know anything. I am willing to pay for time as well.
