Hey guys, I've got a question for ya..
Due to my last fall, the muffer band (the metal piece that wraps around the muffler to hold it against my bike and for support) has cracked. It is still attached to my bike but the muffler weight is making the band (now in 2 pieces) to go lower and lower. So there the gap between the broken band is getting wider and wider. I bought a aluminum long piece of metal from home depot yesterday. It's about the same width (1"). It's much longer but that's no problem, i have a cutter to cut that.
BUt here is my problem:
what is the best way to bend the new piece of metal so that it will fits nicely around my muffler and replace the hold one?
I am guessing i will have to use a drill to make room for the screw later but my 1st concern would be the wrapping job.
Any ideas guys?
