Well I am going to be moving out on my own next year sometime and it's time to start looking at some new bedroom furniture. My other stuff is ugly and kiddy like so its time to get something nice and comtemporary
However, I don't have a lot of money, but I don't want crap either to fall apart on me after a couple years. So I was looking through the Buy and Sell and drove down King George Highway to see what's out there. But I wanted your opinion about what stores to avoid, which ones you recommend.. What to look for in furniture, how you can tell if its made good or if it's made out of particleboard etc..
Here are some places that I was looking at or considering.. I live in Langley so I'm generally going to travel around this side of the bridge, I might travel further if it's really nice and a good deal..
As a side note I don't like Ikea furniture at all, not my taste..

I don't really need a full bedroom suite since I'm expecting to be in a condo ( prefer townhouse but whatever I can afford) so I doubt a 6 piece set would fit in one of those bedrooms.. So I just want a 5 drawer dresser ( tall skinny kind), a nightstand and an Armoire ( not for TVs but with shelves in it).. So I'm not that picky, and I don't think I can spend more than $1200 on a set..
Any suggestions to other places or any help would be appreciated! By the way I don't have anything against shopping online either, I buy lots of stuff on here, as long as they don't charge an arm and a leg for shipping :P
