I took a new 250 for a ride and found it to be very impressive. It seems they are making more power every year. However they also loose some of the nice bottom end that made them so easy to ride. Once you get it on the pipe there is a signifigant hit in power feeling more like a 125 on steroids.....lots of steroids.
The suspension for a bike fresh off the showroom worked very well. A little harsh in the morning but by the afternoon it loosend up and worked great. At speed over small chop it was nice and smooth....in deep whoops it worked good...
It turned pretty good but felt like something needed to be done. The steering felt vague. You never really knew where it was going to go. Not like a Honda turns but with work I am sure it can.
For a good rider it could be alot of fun. For a pro it needs more power and work on the front end.
