My History with the bike.
I bought this bike in March 2005 from Carter Motorsports (Vancouver). It came with some minor damage from the previous owner. It has damage on the tank and a few scrapes. Nothing major, just cosmetic. Since then I have put on about 12,000 kilometers and enjoyed every one of them. This is one of the fastest 400cc bikes you can buy. This bike can keep up with the 600ccs bikes but It can't take off like them. It has been on rides all over the city and into the interior. During this time I have never dumped it or crashed it. It has allowed me to learn and grow very well. It is a very forgiving bike. You will read favorable reviews everywhere you go and if you do buy this bike you will have people come up to offering to buy it. It's rare and its a naked beauty.
During the time I have owned it I have put new tires on it, oil changes, new brakes, and new tires.
On December 23rd, 2006 the oil was changed.
On February 18th, 2007 the carbs were timed and new sparkplugs were put in
All work was done at 5th gear and by DJpaul (CB1 specialist)
When I picked up the bike I took it up to Squamish and back and this bike is ready to go! Lots of power everywhere, runs perfectly straight, and its a blast to ride. This bike is ready for a new rider wanting to learn or a collector looking to add the ultra rare CB1 to his collection.
The bike is located in New Wesminster and is not insured. NO TEST RIDES
PM me if you would like to take a look at it. I realize the price is high for a 400cc older bike but it is VERY rare and it is sought after. So I can wait for the right buyer.
I am 6'2" 200 pounds. I am pretty big for the bike but it still works. Ideally the next rider should be 5'10' and under.
