It seems to me that over the last while I hear more and more about people griping about some roads, such as the Duffy and 4 to Tofino, how they suffer from "too much frost heave", "Too many rocks", "Too many cracks", "Too many crackers on the road", "Dust in the corners", "I know a guy/gal that bailed there it's a dangerous road!", "Corners that are unforgiving and on sheer cliff faces, enter the corner too hot and yer screwed" (EDIT: had to add this one from a reply) "where(sic) nice in the mid 80's ,now they're just a joke".
It always occurred to me that sure the roads arent the smoothest, best paved, or have the most starbucks along them to stop at, but that they hold a lot of great riding, great scenery, and some fun and challenging corners and of course neato bridges. It always seems in my mind that the above gripes are just part of riding, anywhere, any road.
Just a thought that I've been having.
