Hey guys, I need some expertice advise, if you dont know then I dont care. My cam chain tensioner is out on my bike and I need to replace it.
It appears that the oem automatic tensioner makes noises quite soon into use, I dont want to spend the $60 for a 3000km fix
The manual one appears to solve this problem, being a very simple design.
I have heard a series of mixed reviews on the benefits of both, automatics can skip out when hard decceleration and it only lasts at times 1-3000km. The manual one has problems in adjustment and if not donw properly can seriously mess the engine.
I need some help on this, anyone have some good solid information on the topic, all the help would be greatly apprechiated!
