Hey guys, I know theres been a couple threads asking about carb cleaning, but I'm hoping thats not the problem here.
My last ride was december 18th, the bike was running great (its a 99 yzf 600R). A friend and i winterized the bike after, removed gas tank, plastics, battery. We put it back together the other day, did an oil change, started the bike up with no problems. I took it for a ride, and it was really hesitant, it would bog at around 5 thousand RPM, and sounded like the engine was really straining. I'm not really mechanically inclined (hence my buddy helping me with all this stuff), and this is my first bike, first winterizing, first de-winterizing. I was just wondering if its normal for the first few rides for the bike to be like this, or is it more serious, like dirty carbs. At first i thought it was dirty carbs, but it only sat unused for a little over 2 months. Hopefully its something simple, that i can fix. Anyways, thanks in advance for the help.
