I am moving to 100 Mile House and starting my new job there as of April 10th.
Recently, I have been disenchanted with the city, the cost of living, and the crime. Getting my Jeep's wheels ripped off just before Christmas was the last straw for me. So, I started looking for work outside of the city, and landed a good job in 100 Mile. The other day I signed the acceptance of an offer on my townhouse, so that's all sold.
I will be looking to buy a place with a small acreage and house up there, and will have a much smaller mortgage than I have now. I will be working less and keeping more of my hard-earned money, and most importantly, be playing more, especially fishing. Guess I'll be looking for a snowmobile too, haha.
I have met many great people through this site, and for that I am grateful. For the friends I have, the friends I have lost, and the memories, thanks. If you're heading upcountry and would like to visit, just PM me. Once I'm settled into my new place up there (wherever and whenever that will be), I will be pleased to see friends from the 604. Take care, ride safe.
