I don't know if it's just my perception or if this is indeed real but drivers ignoring or refusing to use their turn indicators as risen to a level that's truly Biblical.
I'm not a honker. I lay on my horn only when a truly startling or dangerous situation occurs as a result of someone else's inabilities and carelessness behind the wheel. But I can hardly make a single trip from one end of the city to another without brushing the dust off the center of my steering wheel or my horn switch on my handlebar.
I've reconciled that drivers now are on a complete underclass level than what it was like here in Vancouver, say 10 years ago.
So now I play a game in traffic. To amuse myself and to prevent a frustration induced coronary, I simply count the number of times I witness someone cutting me off, changing lanes, stopping for a parking spot or turning in front of me without the graciousness of using their indicator.
I'm gonna go for a record. I'll keep you all informed.
