Yes it has taken me a long time to get to this stage as quoted by those that have repeatedly said "it will take you longer to learn on a litre bike".
However, I've reached the stage where confidence is whispering in my ear to go hotter into the corners, lean further as well as flicking the bike to feel the edge of the tires bitting into the pavement on a straighaway.
I do understand the importance of track, but due to family commitments the option to do track has been nixed for this year or perhaps bumped towards September.
Mind you, I'm not racing around the corners, more like keeping up with some of the better riders out there (and I still have a quater inch of chicken strips).
but the question remains, how much confidence is too much? and when you say to respect the bike? how do you go about respecting it? what do you watch for when you reach this stage?
thanks for your input...
