So as the weather is getting better, I would like to get out to practice some drills in a parking lot. Braking, cornering etc... I would like to drag a knee as well!
I know SFU can be used if we are not stunting, just drills, but a couple important things need to be considered.
EDIT: This will be held at SFU lot B, the far empty end.
We need a leaf blower, and cones. Better then cones, is that chalk they use for writing on the road. It's cheaper, safer and more convienent. We can draw up a corner etc. I have a leaf blower at work, but I have no way to transport it as I only have my bike. If someone has a truck, that would be ideal. I also have a big broom, that works as well.
EDIT: My woman will drive the car and carry a broom to clean the lot, I will provide chalk to make the lines. She will also take pics and video...
I would really like it if someone who is skilled at technique comes out to critique those practicing. It's not essential however.
EDIT: No one has offered up to pitch in yet, so we will have to figure it out I guess.
This will be a great time to de-rust your winterized skills or find the limits of that new bike you just got. Maybe just see if you can get that knee down.
EDIT: Date & time set: Saturday April 28th, 10:00am.
