Back overseas I had a DR800, Zook of course, done up SM style and I liked it. Everyone had dual sports in Europe, it was cool.
I gave that thing away, and got myself a '05 750 GSX-R, and loved it. Came back to Canada and picked up a '03 636. Thought it would be a lot of fun, but really not as much as the 750.
The only time I am enjoying this 636 is going fast. Real fast. That was cool in Saudi Arabia, but here it's going to get my license taken away, or me dead.
My bike is currently my only vehicle, and the majority of my riding is commuting. So I think I need something more practical and crash-able, if that is even a word.
My 636 is paid for, so I could keep it and get a loan for a second bike, but that kinda sucks.
I really like the sound of a Husky, but I can't trade in a 636 to Bill, so I was thinking a DRZ 400 SM. I know it's gonna need some work to make it really go, and that is going to make it cost more then the Husky, but what can I do...
Throw some ideas at me guys, is the DR the way to go? Should I just look into a bank loan and grab up a Husky?
Consider insurance as well, I am only at a 10% discount as my insurance never went down since I was overseas so long, right now I pay $280 for complete coverage, and I would really like to cut that down.
Which way to go? I guess I could always try and trade someone?
