TRS Custom Visors
We have received several emails and phone calls regarding the safety of our new product launch TRS Custom Visors (aka VizorSkinz) www.VizorSkinzCanada.com
First of all I would like to thank all those who have taken the time to bring this to our attention and at the same time would like to extend an appology to all forum members involved for any "smack talk" that happened here last night......Gotta love those heated forum debates
Anyhow, we are a Canadian Importer and Distributor of unique and custom products. We are pleased to be able to offer the Canadian market new products and are constantly looking to find new products to import. I personally have never tried one of these VizorSkinz but based on the manufacturers advertisement had the impression it would be cool and rather usefull (according to manufacturer -blocks sun, yet maintains good visibility)
Based on our impressions we decided to market the VizorSkinz and just completed our web site a few days ago. The actuall first shipment is due to arrive with us late next week.
The general feedback from some forum members and owners of this product has been rather negative, stating that it is next to impossible to see far ahead, judge distance, and right out dangerous at night and in the rain.
I guarantee that we are looking into this and I will personally test one out myself once it gets here. There are a few other brands that make custom visors but at this point we will look into the matter very carefully.
In the meantime we would appreciate all owners of VizorSkinz or similar products to post their impressions. Is it safe, can you see well with it, would you ride it through the corners.... please let us know your thoughts but keep the language appropriate please !
Thank you for caring for your fellow riders, I am one myself.
Oliver (General Manager)

XperTech Sportbike Accessories - FORUM ANNOUNCEMENT
Thanks to a few concerned fellow riders, namely one of your forum members named Matt we are hereby officially canceling our import and distribution of the VizorSkinz. The final verdict is, if there is even a remote chance that this could endanger someone's life, XperTech wants no part in contributing to this.
This goes to show that there is strength in numbers and we appreciate your forums honest (sometimes hard to accept) feedback.
We hope to continue to be able to offer new products to the Canadian market and appreciate all your business.
