    Yamaha Customer Appreciation Day

Anyone else get an invitation to Yamaha's "Customer appreciation" day out in Mission? I'm surprised that the invite came with some time before the event. Last time I got the invite in the mail the day before the event, and 1 week past the registration cut-off.
Bart: What's Santa's Little Helper doing to that dog? Looks like he's trying to jump over, but he can't quite make it.

^^^ Thanks for the URL. I haven't received my invite in the mail yet. It's May 12th so it's not that far away. Last time they sent the invites out 2 days after the event and the year before they sent out the invite a few days before the event.

Something tells me they aren't very well organized.

Oh man thanks for this. I'm so psyched over the chance to get on the track, even for just a low speed cruise.

They really emphasize that it's not a "track day" and that it pretty much will be a guided low speed cruise. You also have to have a full leather suit or a two piece that is zipped together along with riding boots that will cover your ankles.

I am guessing you can go regardless of what bike you own. Previously they have had demo days specifically for R1 owners but they had it opened up for all Yamaha owners. A the event itself they weren't too fussy about who you were.

If you really want to go I would register online and follow up with a phone call or just come down. If they don't let you in that doesn't preclude you from going for a nice ride on your own.

crap. I've got these for the last 2 years back in Ontario where I lived when I purchased my bike but was away during both of them. The first year they even had the GO!!!!!! M1 there for people to sit on. Figures this year, when I'm around and can make it, they don't have my new address. It's probably too late now.

Yamaha has to date a RECORD 130 people signed up, the day looks promising yet again!

AND Yamaha will be leaving the kids dirt bike section set up for the Sunday races. If you want to see some great racing AND let the kids try some little dirt bikes, come on out. Sunday's gate admission is $10 for adults, kids under 12 are free.
