Did a pre-ride check on my bike today and noticed that my front brakes were really spongy. I got newly installed brake pads and lines done last week (i will not name the shop yet). So as I rode off and tried to stop at the intersection my front brakes failed completely!!!!! What the hell! Got off the bike and noticed one bloody brake pad had fallen out of my calipers! WHAT THE HELL? Looked at the brakes and saw that one of the pads was indeed missing! Picked up the pad and it was gouged out in one corner.
Can someone here with some knowledge of brake pad installation for a 2003 kawasaki 636 tell me if this was a randon failure or did someone really screw up the pad installation? I want some information before returning to the shop and raising HELL! also have my rotors been damaged?
