    I'm deciding on getting new rims and tires. Any suggestions or good experiences?? Manesium, aluminum, carbon? What are the good brands out there???

    What happens if you get a small pebble or a rock caught in between the gears while going down the road?

    Whoaaaa.... what a chick magnet that geared one would be at the local 'Bucks.....


    Good lord. I find myself complaining about cleaning my chain and the three spokes as often as it needs. I can't imagine keeping all those gear teeth spotless. Not to mention the pebble in the teeth issue like you say.
    A backyard mechanic without a service manual is just like a hooker without a lamp pole.... they are both in the dark.

    I'd go for some forged magnesium marchesini's. They look great, are strong and are as light as you can get.

    forged Magnesium FTW!! Durraniracing magnesium rims. durraniracing.com and come in various colours, will use regular sprockets and rotors and only $1098US a set.
    That that doesn't kill us forces us to live with a busted up bike!!
