It was mentioned in a post a while back that local dealerships / shops don't support roadracing because it is, essentially, a bad business decision. So if it's not the best use of a limited marketing budget, why do they do it? Is it for ego (my team beat your team), for shop awareness, or maybe just because they have a genuine love for the sport? I don't know. Anyone care to theorize?
