May Long Weekend
Looking for a fun way to spend your May long weekend? Why not take a trip
up the gorgeous Fraser Canyon along winding Hwy 1 to Ashcroft for the Season Opener of the Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association's Drag Specialties All Bike Drag Series at Eagle Motorplex (www.eaglemotorplex.com) on May 19-20th.
On the way up you can stop by the Log Cabin Pub (www.logcabinpub.com) in
Spences Bridge and say hello to John & Laurie Kingston, our BCCOM Reps for
the area and grab a bite to eat. On race weekends CMDRA racers & fans can
enjoy a 12" pizza and a pitcher of beer for only $18.00.

After a day of watching the most exciting motorcycle drag racing in Canada
you can drop by Cache Creeks local watering hole, The Oasis, for some good
company and refreshments.
There are several motels & hotels nearby and camping at the track if you'd
like to spend the night. Of course, no trip to the area is complete without
a visit to Horstings Farm Market (www.horstingfarms.com) to enjoy some of
the best homemade soup and sandwiches you will ever have in a beautiful
Admission into the drags is $20.00 for the day or $30.00 for the weekend and
if you're feeling adventurous you can test your metal by participating in
the CMDRA's FREE race school on Saturday morning at 9:00 am.
The battle for the 2007 championships begins in Ashcroft May 19-20th at a

Street bikes to Top Fuel Nitro Harley's burning up the quarter mile at over
200 mph. Walk around the pits and meet the racers and crew that make it all
