I can have what i think I might need but how can someone prepare for what is being called "worse case"? Worse case ends up with 7 feet of water at downtown Chilliwack. Entire valley under water and since all the power stations are in the low ground the entire area will be without power. Expect the drinking water to be not drinkable. IF that happens it is estimated that it will take weeks for the water to recede. How will people even be ablet o get to and from work? Could be the entire system will be put on hold.

I have (or will have) 2 weeks water for my house, food, and basic stuff for taking care but really, how can you be truely prepared?

Course the worst thing will be missing Moto Gp and Mission Racing.

I'm set with enough water and food for 2 1/2 weeks for my family, so we'll not parish. . . not immediately at least.

Other than that I've made no preparations. A few neighbours have considered getting together on a generator, but nothings come of it so far.

my parents had 4 storage containers delivered and packed everything up to be stored until the flood warning is over.

the worst case is they both move into my house as well...

    home cooked meals?

Well, for the racetrack we have arranged to have our container full of equipment and such transported off site to high ground along with our trailers, hay bales and airfence. Basically everything we own is being moved to high ground in case we do get some flooding.

Ugh, I have been living and breathing flood preparation the past month at work. It sucks having to prepare for the worst case (200 year flood plain) when no one expects it to exceed the 40 year plain, but I guess it is better to be prepared in case the unlikely does occur.

Whalley could become water front propery if it does go down though.

Town wasn't entirely derelict of shit in the first place...

I should be on shift in that area during the flood so if anyone here gets drunk enough to almost drown in the shitwater i'll be seeing you haha.
