In keeping with the "high costs of living in the future" theme, has anyone been solicited by CEG Energy, which is apparently a gas marketer moving in on Terasen Gas customers as a natural gas option. i.e. they fix your gas rates at a set price for a 5 year term, while Terasen still charges you for delivery of gas, etc.
I believe I was quoted $9.69 per GJ.
I normally don't give the time of day for door to door marketing, but looking up info on the web etc... seems like something to consider.
Lots of graphs and predictions as to why you should fix your costs, blah blah blah. From their site:
"Beginning May 1, 2007 residential customers on Terasen's Mainland supply network will also have the option to choose a natural gas supplier other than Terasen under the CUSTOMER CHOICE initiative."
