I want to street legalize my 1998 cr250. I know what youre goign to say: buy a bike thats already legal. Well I like to do things the hard way. I dont care that its a 2 stroke and wont handle well on the street. I only want to legalize it to ride to local trails and to the corner store every now and then. I am not goign to be using it as a daily commuter.
Anywas, I realize that since its a dirtbike it has no papers or title. So how do I go about getting a title. Do I have to insure it as a u built? Whats the process on doing this? Can I call ICBC or someone to ask if its possible to even legalize my bike? It has the decal which states its approved by transportation canada. I want to know for sure that i can legalize this bike, so i can slowly start buying everythign I need.
