So on sunday i was riding down westminister and saw a redlight up ahead, so since im a noob i pulled in the clutch and braked while going around 60km. When i reached the car in front of me the light turned green, but i didn't know which gear i was in or what gear i should be in since i had the clutch in and the tach was at idle speed. so i panic and shifted all the way down to first, hoping it was the right gear, but little did i know that i was still in 2nd and when i released the clutch i stalled the bike. The car behind me ran right into my rear end and sent me rolling a couple feet and onto the painted island. after this incident i took my bike to the graveyard today and started to practice downshifting, but i either keep reving it super high or i jolt the bike like crazzy. So i was wondering if you guys can help me out and give me a few pointers AND yes im trying my best to stay of the road right now. thx!
