And not so much so for Michelin Pilot Roads..
I thought that Pilot Roads were supposed to be a relatively longer lasting tire.
Rear had no more than 1500 k on it before I left, now about 2,700 k later it's toast.... 4,200 k what's with that.... I've only got 95 horse to play with here.
Back to a Tourance on the back, sticks just as well as the Road and the last one lasted over 15,000 k.
Anyway back to the title. If you're ever in need and in Nor Cal see these guys. They bent over backwards to help me out. Even though the shop was booked to mid next month and I could see exactly how busy they were, they mounted and balanced a new front and rear for me and had me on my way in a couple of hours...
It helped that they had the tires in stock of course, but the service manager was just great....
I've got Kevin Schwantz’s signature on the back of my jacket, turns out the service manager is a long time Schwantz fan, maybe that helped, who knows, but I'm in his debt for sure... Probably didn’t help as he didn’t see it till I was leaving, but then we had to chat about that for a while, sigh, more delays….
