Just an other day and an other ride on the good ole' squamish valley road. Or so i thought. Cruising back to town from my favorite twistys I came across two massive mud infused tire tracks coming out of a trail and onto the road. Some ones big red-neck truck had done a dirt to pavement burnout. As I hit this, my trusty 'blade went into a massive slide then grabbed! I thankfully averted high side grasping on with just my left hand as it tried to throw my off like an angry bull. After the miraculous and death-averting recovery, I couldn't get her cranked down again and ran wide by just a few inches. I was thrown from the bike, into a wood pile where my foot got stuck and I continued to rotate. finally coming to a peaceful and pain-free rest on my ass in the bushes I though I was ok. OK until the first good citizen to stop tells me, "Oh dude, Oh god your foot is on backwards!" Tib-Fib spiral fracture, I'm all bolted back together now and boy does it hurt. I'm going to be out for a good 4 or so months. The bike is purely cosmetic damage and i was planning to build a fighter out of it anyways.
