I was riding home on Willingdon today during rush hour in stop and go traffic when my bike starts coughing and making weird noises. i look at the Rpm and the needle is jumping up and down til it finally stalls. I restart the bike, rev it a couple times to keep the rpm's high but it still dies. I must have restarted it about 4 or 5 times ( i checked to make sure it was in first gear) before i finally put the kick stand down and waved for the traffic to go around me. My temperature was at about 100. The lady in the car behind me starts laughing at me as if I didnt know how to ride and some other old fart in a van rolled his window down and yelled at me to get off the fucking road. I'm a girl and it's hard for me to push the bike especially on a hill and cars were bumper to bumper. Finally a nice guy stops and helped me block the traffic so i could get the bike to a side street where it started up again fine.
This is the second time that my bike has suddenly stalled for no reason this month and started up again fine after a few minutes. Is this something I should be worried about? I dont want it dying on me on the freeway or something. Oh yeah, it's an 03 R6. never been in accidents or anything. Thanks for the help guys
