    This irks me

I tried to keep quiet but what is up with the new riders not being able to spell? It's generally not a pet peeve of mine but for some reason it's pissing me off. Not to be harsh but either the noobs don't know how to use a dictionary or they still have 3 years of basic education left. Excuse my rant. Now i just hope i didn't spell anything wrong.

People laugh at me for going back to my post to correct misspelling, typos, etc. I'm with you. I'm not counting the words spelt out for dramatic affect. But some posts are hard to read. Bad spelling. Bad punctuation.

If I'm posting, it's assumed I want people to read it. I should make it easy to read, right?

I don't know if Grammar Nazi is really appropriate.

I mean the Nazis are gone - they weren't successful. I'd rather be a Grammar Jew or Grammar Al Queda....

Okay ...so what is the appropriate use of "spelt" or "spelled"???

I know that "spelt" is a grain and "spelled" is the formation of a word in the past (passed) tense (tents)? .... jk

IMHO, either can be used interchangeably.
