Wellonly6 weeks after cracking up my old bike and writing it off, shattering my wrist in 6 places and suffering through a servere and acute case of post operative acute compartment syndrome I have purchased a new bike.
Now this wasn't my initial intention, I was goingto buy a used bike and ride through the summer, but after getting a bad taste in my mouth with a bike sales shop in the lower mainland I decided to see what was available locally.
I remember seeing someone have a 2007 Gixxer 750 follow them home and I loved the bike. It just so happens that I scooped a deal on the exact same bike, brand new with .5km on the odomoeter for one hell of a good price.
Here she is, the pictures are a little on the poor side for now , but I will be taking some nice ones today and putting them up. One thing that really stood out to me is the torque and the sound that it this bike makes, granted I havent been able to wind it up yet due to break in, but Suzuki did their homework with pretty much every aspect of this bike from what I have seen so far. The seating position is very nice, the fact that there are adjustable rearsets stock is pretty amazing. The shorty pipe sounds good, not amazing, but fairly agressive for stock. The controls and instrument panel are all laid out in a manner which makes it easy to read and see, plus it has a gear position indicator stock, I love it!
Like I said, I will get some shots of that amazing dark blue colour today when the sun is in the right spot, because it truley is an amazing shade of dark royal blue, or as I have dubbed it "SHBB" Super Hawt Boner Blue.
