One of the true luxuries of riding higher than average miles is that you wear out stuff fast.
This allows you to justify buying newer better gear each time with the idea that it will last longer and the cost per mile will go down - or that is what I claim
I have 100K on 2 pair of Lee Parks Design gloves and I have been really happy with them but they are getting old and beat up
I used to wear Held Gloves till the company changed it's country of and quality of manufacturing
At the Reg Pridmore Schools they use Helimot suits and gloves.
I learned that Helimot offers custom glove alterations once your have 5K Miles on a pair of gloves
So I decided to give them a try
Today I went down to Point Roberts to try on gloves at the letter carrier
Helimot had sent me an XL and a XXL and I was to send back the size that didn't fit. The XXL fits and they are sending me a second pair once the xl are back at the shop
Now I have to say these gloves are a work of art and the leather feels like butter
I bought the Buffalo Pro 192
They are simply gorgeous gloves
