Spent a very enjoyable rainy afternoon cleaning up the shop and making this hand deburring tool that uses a little screw in bit I got from the Boeing Surplus center some years back. I bought about 6 or 8 of the things so I've got a good supply as they get dull.
I even took the time to setup and stamp my initials and the date on the little band between the knurled areas. After all if I'm going to waste time I may as well do it RIGHT. If you look closely you can see it.
The ball top swivels as well. A split ring of plastic fits in a groove in the handle and when the ball snaps on it jumps into a more shallow version of the same groove to hold it.
Anyone else here make some of their own tools? Let's make this thread a place to show off the stuff for the shop that let's us work better and more effectively. Some of the ideas may even help out some of the other folks that do a lot of their own work.
