Best thing would be to ride it first...otherwise you'll only break off all those parts first couple of rides on it/off it.

just ride it like there's no tomorrow,
my first bike was the RZ350 1989. just ride it. it's ur first bike, you'll have tons of memories. You'll slowly learn to hate kick starting your bike.
If jack helped you off a horse would you help jack off a horse??

You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

If you have a RZ of that vintage, it's already unique, you don't see a lot of them anymore. Actually, it's probably more interesting stock.

Congrats on the RZ. Sweet ride.

yea cool ride. Back in the late 80s they had the RZ cup and it was well represented at races all over.

    Cool man,

    enjoy.

Wow - it has been a while since I've heard of the old rz line... Keep the revs up and you'll really enjoy that bike. Take good care of it too - they're becoming collector's bikes... I thought that they were "pretty cool" just stock...

Methinks it's time to adjust the date on your camera.

Sweet ride by the way. I'd lop off the rear end and put on a solo seat.

Boy does seeing that bike brings back memories... It *should* last forever... Those old two-strokes were excellent engines and easy to work on. Amazing it was sitting for so long - gaskets would dry out in a four-stroke and would likely need replacing (head gasket mainly). I couldn't say on a two stroke - but the engine is very easy to work on (comparitively). I would make sure all the other "rubber bits" are not deteriorated and the cables are well-lubed an not worn.

$500 - cool - why can I never find deals like that?!?!
