It looks like that was ugly flew off the ramp over and down onto the rr tracks. Bummer, he must have been traveling pretty fast.

    Early Morning Fatality

The Coquitlam RCMP are investigating an early morning single vehicle collision that resulted in the death of the driver of a motorcycle. Police were called to the on ramp of United Blvd from East bound Lougheed Hwy at around 4:53am on July 28 on a report of a collision. The driver of the blue, 2004 Honda CBR 600 motorcycle was traveling Eastbound on Lougheed Hwy and attempted to take the on ramp onto United Blvd when he became out of control.

The Coquitlam traffic unit is investigating the fatality and a traffic analyst is at scene collecting evidence. The road will be closed until around 3:00pm to assist with the investigation. The name of the deceased is being withheld until family is notified.

Any one who may have witnessed the collision or has information is asked to contact Cst. LALLY at 945-1550. Speed was a factor in this fatality. Motorists are reminded to slow down and arrive alive.

I rode Deal's Gap / The Dragon in September 2007 and I visited Yellowstone in August 2010. Where have you been?

Bikewise, there have been way too many DOS and DOA's this year. Be careful out there people, we still have 3-4 months to go.

    RIP rider.

This happened about a five minute walk from my place. That on ramp is a bitch if you dont know it too. There's a big seam which creates a dip and bump where the on ramp and the bridge meet the road going down to the gas station. If you're not aware of that, i can see how this happened.....

    my condolences
