I am on a family vacation (picture Chevy Chase with his family in the station wagon...) and have been travelling some of the routes along and around the Oregon coast. Went inland a couple of miles to this total wild logging museum. To get back to the coast we took Route 53 from near Elsie, Oregon back to the coast highway 101.
The 53 was absolutely freaking wild. We only saw a couple of cars on the entire stretch of highway we were on. The corners were so twisty that we came around one corner and ran into the back end of our own car. This road is incredible and it goes for miles.
I just had to share it with my fellow riders. This picture says it all except that the twisties did not stop after 19 miles. I will be returning to this road again with my gixxer next time!!!
