I need some advice on paint here.
Basically I'm just looking to do a shoddy job, as I'm still a new rider, and am prepared to dump the bike. Infact it's been dumped before, and the tail piece's been replaced with one of a different color.
I just want it to match. I have some bodyshop experience, but it's all been with cars, so i've really only dealt with metal surfaces. There's been the odd bumper or two, but those are considerably stiffer than the fairings on my bike, plus i don't want to be dealing with cracking and peeling paint if and when i dump this thing.
Conservation of money is the key theme here. So basically, I'm just wondering if anyone's had any experience using any particular off-the-shelf spray bombs on their plastics?
I'd like to avoid using the spray gun and compressor, cuz I don't have much experience spraying plastic. Nor do i really want to bother going to the trouble of getting paint mixed.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Otherwise i'm just gonna go to crappy tire and pick up some moto-master automotive paint. I know it's not the best choice. but frankly, it don't care all too much.
