So I was thinking of selling my sportbike and picking up a cruiser... i know a sad day but I would rather transition over to longer rides and taking it slower since I cant seem to see myself slowing down on my sportbike. The last year of riding has made me rethink my riding style/safety.
I looked at these bikes online and in some motorcycle magazine reviews. I have not been able to check them out in real life yet as there are no dealerships on the island with these bikes.
I wanted to know how they ride. I ride my dad's 1500cc Intruder but it has floor boards and I scrape them all over the place, on back roads and even in town. I wanted to know how these bikes will be for riding, do they have decent clearence so you can actually lean them over? I know that they are not going to be the same as my sport bike but I would still like to do some of the same roads I do now.
Also how are these bikes for maintenence/problems...?
I know this is a sportbike site, which I have been on for the past 5 years since my first R6, the reason I am asking on here is to get a perspective from people who have driven sport bikes and cruisers.
