I had a minor... uhhh accident, needless to say I'm fine but my beautiful over-expensive Shoei Helmet is scratched and a large enough chip out of the top to have me worried. I keep hearing something about ICBC paying out like 300$ to help replace the helemt if you crash. If this is true...
A) I assume theres no deductable on it? (it would be os ICBC to pay you out 300$ with a 300$ deductable)
B) the bike is fine, so I didn't make a claim with ICBC for that, would I need to, to get this?
C) Would my discount go down if I take the ICBC monies (asuming there is any to give)
I have full insurance, Com/Collision the works. I need to replace the helmet, I know it's garbage now... SIGH, just wondering cause 300$ helps when you need to replace a 650$ helmet.
Anymore info on it would be great! I'd just call ICBC, but it's the weekend and you know!
ALSO on a totally side note, anyone have a Suomy Helmet? I'm italian and they have this cool Italian flag helmet I like, but I'm afraid they're gonna be crap compared to the RF1000. Also any dealers that sell them, or have them so I can try them on!
Any help would be fantstimo!
