How much milege do you have on your bike right now?

Just a curiosity, I seem to notice the majority of the bikes that are for sale on this site got a very low milege! Do people just get the bike and keep it as a showpiece in their garage or what!? I'm seeing a lot of 03 or 04 CBRs that only got like 3000-7500km.

I have an 07 R6 and only been riding this baby just little over 3 months now and I already put on 5300km! I'm personally not a "hard core ride or die" guy
nor "poser/squid" just taking it around coffee shops city to city.
Anyways, point being tell me what kind of bike it is and the year of your bike.

We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way.

Now, that makes more sense! I thought I was the only one with "a lot of milege" on a new bike. I thought I was putting on a lot milege on my bike when I saw couple year old bikes that only had 3-4000km or so. It just didn't make sense to me because when I saw 03-05 used bikes that were for sale which only had like 4000km(average) and I even seen some bikes that only had 1500km(barely broken in) with numbers of esthetic mods and aftermarket pipes. I was like "WTF! Do these people ever go out riding or just have it as accesory to hitch girls?"

No complaints there since you just got your new/06 Ducati.
Keep up the good work and ride hard man!
