    Worn out fuel pump

I posted the thing about my bikes missfire and it turned out to be a kinked fuel hose, the one that comes out of the gas tank to the filter. I want to know if over working a fuel pump like that would cause it to wear out relly fast? If you can see it pumping the fuel in pulses is it worn out? Now I am not sure if it still is pulsing, but it was ,for a bit, right after I unkinked the fuel line.

If it's a diaphram style pump then it will pump in pulses normally. But if it's a vane or gear style pump then this isn't a good thing. You'll need to find out which style your bike has.
