As part of my trip in the next couple of weeks I am considering jumping the border and doing the Selkirk Loop and possibly following highway 20 west from there.
What do I need to know? I don't need a passport to cross, right? Just photo ID, in other words a driver's license? What about medical insurance? Is there a short term insurance built into our ICBC insurance, like for a couple of days or something? Or do I need to go and get insurance even just for a day?
Silly question, but are the speed limits enforced to the point where it isn't going above the signs or what? I have always felt leery in another country, don't wish to get too friendly with the peace officers if I can help it. Speaking of which, they won't have a problem with me bringing my weed will they?!
