Why are most of the OEM metal fasteners so poor? It's almost like they are designed to give you trouble after 2 or 3 on/off cycles.
I just changed out my brake lines with a HEL kit. The bleeder valves and banjo bolts that came with the kit are many times better. I know that most of these parts are suppose to go on with 15 to 25 ft-lbs of torque. The stuff for the fairing... even less.
The plastic fasteners seems to be great. Good design. Can reuse over and over again.
